Help. Living here in the mountains near the unabomber, I am kind of out of touch w/ college ultimate. Unfortunately, rsd is no longer a place to get a quick recap of a tourney. I tried to figure out the vegas results instead it is a thread of 100 posts with scores for each round as they are happening. Is there a simple vegas recap anywhere? Or president's day? Or anything like that? Please feel free to give a quick rundown below. I am asking for it, I really don't care about things as they happen round by round, only during the series is that important.
I want to know-
1. Who else is really good besides Wisconsin? (not who best in bad areas, I want to know who has a chance to win)
2. Did Florida beat Wisconsin in the Finals? And does Florida still have the 2 really, really good guys?
3. Michigan results would be nice too.
4. A quick recap of early college tourneys, with just basic results like who won who was in semis... Not who Northern Arizona played in round 2.
5. Anything else of interest, like how injured is Goldstein?
Any help would be much appreciated. Of course, nothing ultimate related from me right now. I am still trying to recover from 6 months of not working out. And taking advantage of the weather that has been much less snowy and much, much warmer then places I used to live. Which is good for me, not as good if say you enjoy skiing. Highlights of the past couple weeks have been 2 35 minute runs and getting a pair of padded shorts for spinning. But no basketball, and I am forced to watch a UM-MSU bball game where a balding, lefty, 6'1", white guy is hands down the best offensive player on the floor. It's the little things that keep me going.

Goldstein - Tore something or other (I believe) out like a month, is walking fine, will be fine for the stuff that actually matters, i.e. 100%ish for Regionals/Natties
Based on the above results (plus some Florida Winter Classic stuff) the only 2 teams that standout above the rest are Florida and Wisconsin. Looks like a wide open year, at least until we get results in from Pres Day, Stanford and Centex
Also, Florida lost one of the really good guys, the one that won the Callahan. They have the other really good guy, the one who I thought was better than the other one last year. Word is they're doing the small rotation thingy again and hoping it can pay off.
Got nothing on Michigan, sorry
I saw Michigan play Pitt at QCTU. RYan is going to have to carry a huge load for them if they hope to return to Columbus. MagnUM looks very young and to be in a serious rebuilding year. That said, they have tradition behind them, but it'll be a tough battle with OSU and OU in the GL (I have no idea about MSU this year).
They lost a close pre-quarter to up & coming Davidson and then I dont know what they did in the lower bracket.
I was going to suggest using the score reporter tool for getting some of this info, but when I went there MagnUM had a result against Pitt women and the like, so I guess their still working out the early season kinks with that.
Maybe collegeulti.com or another site will step up to fill the void in results reporting that is definitely out there. Its really frustrating to comb through so many score rsd posts to get to some recap chatter.
